Training for Organizations & Groups

The following training modules provide organizations, community leaders and advocates with the tools to create a supportive, healing environment within their organizations and communities. The content included in these modules will benefit organizations and communities after a tragedy occurs, and provide a sense of preparedness to respond to tragedies in the future.

Implementing trauma-informed programs and services within institutions, organizations and communities serves all of society; employees who feel safe and supported are more productive; students who have the tools to work through their grief are better learners; and residents in communities where resilience-building programs are available feel supported, secure, resulting in stronger economies and safer neighborhoods.

Communities with resilience-building programs in place are able to quickly respond in the aftermath of a traumatic event – whether human caused or a natural disaster. Organizations with resilience programs in place can quickly and efficiently identify the needs of impacted individuals and minimize the long-term impacts of trauma and grief.
